the color is straw yellow, brilliant. The nose is quite discreet, on buttered apple and frangipane. The mouth is round, ample, rather fresh on the attack, with a fairly dense, ripe, finely pulpy substance, offering a nice length. The finish gains even more density, underlined by a fine chalky chewiness, with persistence on the spices and notes of pear and smoke.
