Voted ‘Wine of the Year’ by Wine Spectator in 2008, the 2005 Clos Apalta is a blend of 42% Carménère, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. The nose is exuberant and complex, filled with plums, black cherries, dry figs, dark chocolate cocoa and a touch of violet.
