Bright, youthful medium ruby. Vibrant aromas of cassis, black raspberry, cherry pit and bitter chocolate are complicated by hints of leather and pipe tobacco. Very suave and fine-grained but youthfully withdrawn, with the dark berry, bitter cherry, licorice, chewing tobacco and leather flavors carrying through the palate.
