Deep maroon/ruby-red in color, with dark pigmentation but the wine is not opaque. The dark fruit on the nose is rich, ripe & seems alcoholic. On the palate dark cherry & cassis fruit gives way to a lovely smooth, fine structure with a chocolatey texture.
