Classified as a Third-Growth estate in 1855, Château Palmer is one of the finest properties within the Margaux appellation. Unusually for the Médoc, its flagship wine usually has as much Merlot as Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, along with a small amount of Petit Verdot.
